What needs to be said? Ringabel is the best male character in the game. He’s so flamboyant and ridiculous. He’s all the reasons why I like Nash (Lunar) without all of Nash’s (many) annoying aspects. Hair, amazing. Attitude, carefree and flashy. Fashion sense, looking good. What could possibly make him better? A shoulder rose the size of his head. I have to admit, I was smitten by the male red mage design immediately. Red velour/velvet, TAILS FOR AGES…and of course, ridiculously large roses. I was beaten before I knew there was a battle.
I needed to find the proper fabrics; I knew I wanted to used velvet or velour for the coat with accents of a satin for the belt, lapels, and roses. Fortunately Jomar heard my plea and I was able to find the perfect selection there. I even found a fabulous red paisley print for the lining and an amazing black fabric that has a subtle rose design (that disappears when ironed!!! T_T ) for the pouf pants!
Wig was the hardest aspect; mostly the cost. I needed a base wig and enough wefts to do his pseudo pompadour. Arda was my first choice as they had what I needed in the color I wanted and I’ve worked with their wigs before.
